In 2005, Assabah Arts and Science College established the Academic Monitoring Cell with the primary objective of reviewing, assessing, and implementing the academic activities of the college each year. Prior to the commencement of each academic year, the monitoring cell appoints new members. We adhere to the curriculum prescribed by the University of Calicut. Following university regulations and curriculum guidelines, we formulate the academic calendar and, in collaboration with the Academic Monitoring Cell, implement this framework of academic activities.

In accordance with university rules, the formative evaluation of students involves both external and internal assessments, constituting a continuous evaluation process. External evaluation, conducted by the University at the end of each semester, has its dates announced through the university's website and other media. Internal examinations, occurring twice in each semester, contribute to the internal evaluation process. Attendance, performance in assignments, and participation in seminars are also considered when awarding internal marks. The Academic Monitoring Cell oversees and manages the internal evaluation process. Additionally, a grievance redressal mechanism operates at both the department and institutional levels.
