ANTI RAGGING COMMITTEE

The Anti-Ragging Committee at Assabah Arts and Science College is a vital component of the institution's commitment to fostering a safe and welcoming environment for all students. Comprising dedicated faculty members, administrative staff, and student representatives, the committee works tirelessly to prevent any instances of ragging or harassment within the campus premises. Their responsibilities include raising awareness about the detrimental effects of ragging, conducting regular inspections, and promptly addressing any reported incidents with sensitivity and impartiality. Through their proactive measures and vigilant oversight, the Anti-Ragging Committee plays a crucial role in promoting a culture of respect, inclusivity, and mutual support among the student body.

MISSION

The mission of the Anti-Ragging Cell at Assabah Arts and Science College is to foster a culture of respect, tolerance, and mutual understanding among students, thereby promoting a harmonious and inclusive learning environment. We are committed to eradicating the menace of ragging through proactive measures, stringent enforcement of rules, and continuous education and awareness campaigns.

OBJECTIVE

Prevention: To prevent any form of ragging within the college premises, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment for all students.

Awareness: To raise awareness among students about the detrimental effects of ragging on individuals' mental and physical well-being, as well as on the reputation of the institution.

Support: To provide support and assistance to victims of ragging, ensuring their rights and dignity are protected, and facilitating their integration back into college life.

Enforcement: To enforce strict disciplinary actions against those found guilty of engaging in ragging activities, in accordance with the guidelines set by regulatory authorities.
