The NSS established by the department of Youth Affairs of the Government of India, functions in the college with the aim of developing social awareness, and providing opportunities for the students to understand and analyse the problems of the society and inculcate the sense of dignity of labour. The NSS unit of the college (Unit 240) involves 100 active volunteers. With the guidance of NSS programme Officer, each academic year witness a variety of programs and activities under this unit.
The Women Development Cell ensures the security of the girl students of the college inside and outside the campus. Lead by senior lady teachers, the cell has selected girl students as its members. Over the past years the Women Development Cell was successful in mitigating the problems faced by the girl students and ensuring their overall development.
Provision is made for major games in the college. There will be a Sports Council to advise the Principal in all matters relating to Physical Education. The Principal will be the Chairman and Head of the Department of Physical Education will be the secretary. The Captains of the various teams will be nominated to the Council.
