The department has established to provide skillful psychological knowledge to students to work healthy for society. The students and faculty establish close collaborations to learn the scientific principles of behavior and mental processes, to make significant contributions to the science and practice of psychology, and to produce professionals who serve the local, national, and global communities.
Mission
The department is committed to provide complete applicable knowledge in psychology field to students for making better healthy society through giving theoretical and practical knowledge. And also missioned to advance and transmit knowledge related to the nature of psychological processes; to provide a strong foundation in the basic knowledge and skills necessary for advanced study in psychology and related disciplines; and to provide the competence necessary for successful careers.
Goals and Objectives
• Acquire strong intellectual knowledge foundation in the field of psychology
• Understand and apply basic research methods and experimental design principles.
• Develop knowledge and skills of a professional research psychologist
• Students will possess the awareness, sensitivity, and skills to work with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds and characteristics
• Students will be guided by ethics, and practice in a manner that takes into account the rights and needs of those they serve as well as society as a whole
