On February 13, 2023, the PG Department of Food Science & Technology and the Entrepreneurship Club at Assabah Arts and Science College, Valayamkulam, orchestrated a successful food fest named "GAZPACHO" at the college auditorium. With a diverse array of food items and creatively adorned stalls, the event boasted 7 categories, including innovative foods, traditional foods, candies and preserves, meat products, dairy products, soups, and desserts. This initiative served as a valuable learning experience, cultivating entrepreneurial skills, teamwork, collaboration, and creativity among student organizers, fostering the idea of becoming future entrepreneurs. Inaugurated by Unni Haji, the General Secretary of Assabah Arts and Science College, alongside special guest Foodie Muscle Man (food vlogger), Prof Mohammed Koya, Principal of Assabah, and faculty from the PG Department of Food Science and Technology, the event featured a judging session by faculty members and concluded at 4 pm with a captivating violin performance by Abhin.
