The PG Department of Food Science and Technology at Assabah Arts and Science College Valayamkulam entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology at Royal Dental College, Chalissery. This collaboration led to the initiation of value-added courses on "Food Safety and Nutrition" for BDS students at Royal Dental College. Riswana Nasrin and Aslam Mohamed, Assistant Professors in the Department of Food Science and Technology, took charge of conducting these modules, enriching the educational experience of dental students by imparting knowledge in vital areas of food safety and nutrition. This partnership signifies a meaningful interdisciplinary exchange aimed at enhancing the overall learning and expertise of students in both institutions.
