On October 16, 2023, at 11:00 am, Prof. Muhammed Koya, the honorable principal, inaugurated the seminar section featuring Mis. VINEETHA K, the Food Safety Officer from Ponnani Circle, as the resource person. The session commenced with an insightful discussion on the introduction to millets, emphasizing the nutritional benefits, community engagement, and awareness surrounding the nutritional value of millets. Mis. VINEETHA K also delved into topics such as the promotion of culinary innovation with millet-based foods, global Millet Food Day initiatives, and the economic and ecological advantages of integrating millets into agriculture. The seminar provided a powerful platform for advocating millet consumption, fostering community engagement, and addressing nutritional challenges. The session concluded around 1 pm.
