The Department of Geology orchestrated a field visit for second-year students, scheduled from March 7th to the 13th, 2023, encompassing diverse geological sites across Andhra Pradesh. This field excursion aimed to provide students with a practical and immersive understanding of geological formations and phenomena. Undertaking such field visits is instrumental in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world geological scenarios. During the expedition, students had the opportunity to explore and analyze various geological features, collect samples, and witness firsthand the geological processes shaping the landscape. This hands-on experience contributes significantly to the students' overall learning, enhancing their observational and analytical skills.
