The Department of Geology orchestrated a captivating event, Geofest - "Interstellar" – a geological exhibition, held on the 15th and 16th of February 2023. This two-day exhibition catered to different audiences, with the first day dedicated to college students and the second day welcoming high school and higher secondary students. As part of the Geofest, a diverse range of activities, including competitions such as quizzes and games like FIFA 22 (PlayStation) and 3's football, were organized for the participating students. The Geo Club took charge of orchestrating the event, ensuring the smooth execution of activities and competitions. The event not only served as a platform for showcasing geological exhibits but also offered an engaging and interactive space for students to participate in various contests, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and enthusiasm within the geological community. The prize distribution ceremony added an element of recognition, encouraging active participation and celebrating the achievements of the talented participants. Such events play a crucial role in promoting interest and camaraderie within the geology department while providing a dynamic platform for students to showcase their geological knowledge and skills.
