The one-day seminar "Trigger Visions," organized by the Department of Psychology at Assabah Arts and Science College, Valayamkulam, aimed to enlighten students on research methodology in social sciences and hypnosis. Inaugurated by Prof. Mohammed Koya, Principal of the college, the event commenced with an insightful session on Research Methodology led by Mr. K.A Latheef, HOD of Markaz Arts and Science College, Athavanad. The session provided students with a comprehensive understanding of research techniques. In the afternoon, Prof. Mohammed Koya inaugurated the discussion on Hypnosis, emphasizing the importance of mental health awareness at the college level. Following the inauguration of the mental health club by Mr. K.A Latheef, a captivating demonstration of live stage hypnosis dispelled myths surrounding the practice and left the audience enthralled. Mr. K.A Latheef was felicitated for his exceptional engagement, and top performers of the first-semester university exam were honored.
