Unarvu Counselling Centre in association with the Department of Psychology, Assabah Arts and Science College, Valayamkulam organised an Anti-Drug Awareness Programme on 29 June 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Conference Hall.
The programme began with anchoring by Thalmia, followed by a silent prayer. The welcome speech was delivered by Ms. Afeefa MK ,Psychologist, Unarvu Counselling Centre. The programme was inaugurated by Capt. Prof. Mohamed Koya M.N, Principal, Assabah Arts and Science College.

The awareness session was led by the resource person Adv. Manjula K, Taluk Legal Service Committee, Ponnani, who shared valuable information regarding the legal, social, and personal consequences of drug abuse.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Nivya Vijayan, HOD, Department of Psychology. The programme was successfully attended by 92 participants and contributed to enhancing awareness and responsibility among students towards creating a safer and drug-free society.
