The Unarvu Counselling Centre, in collaboration with the Women Development Cell (WDC) of Assabah Arts and Science College, organized a programme titled “A Gentle Guide to Exam Preparation” for first- and second-year students on Friday, 27th March at 10:30 AM in the Conference Hall. The programme commenced with a welcome speech by Shajitha, WDC Coordinator, and was inaugurated by the College Principal, Prof. Mohamed Koya M.N. The session was led by Afeefa M.K., College Psychologist at Unarvu Counselling Centre, and focused on effective study techniques, time management, and simple strategies to reduce exam stress. It aimed to help students improve concentration, build confidence, and achieve better academic results. The vote of thanks was delivered by a student representative.
The programme was organized to address the common challenges faced by students during examinations, such as stress, lack of focus, and poor time management. It provided a supportive platform for students to learn practical strategies and develop a positive approach towards exam preparation and academic performance. A total of 60 students actively participated in the programme.

Students gained better understanding and confidence in preparing for examinations. Overall, the session was successful in supporting students to approach exams in a more positive and effective manner.
