Assabah NSS 240 volunteers participated in a workshop, safety awareness class conducted by Kerala fire and rescue services and Kerala civil defence force. The demo classes related to the topics like car accidents, fire accidents, emergency medical care etc were very useful. Mock drills were a new experience for the students. Assabah NSS volunteers spearheaded the training session in the program which was attended by many NSS and NCC volunteers from nearby educational institutions. And also participated in the memorial meeting of Ashraf Pantavoor who died prematurely last year while he was active in volunteer service in the Changaramkulam Edapal region. Assabah Management Officers, PPM Ashraf, Kunji Muhammed Pantavoor and others who are active in voluntary service sectors presided over the function.
