Basheer Day Celebrations Organized
Valayamkulam: The Malayalam Department of Assabah Arts and Science College organized Basheer Day celebrations and a documentary screening. The event, held in the conference hall, was inaugurated by College Principal Muhammed Koya. He remarked that Basheer is a writer read across all generations.
The event was presided over by Praveen K U, HOD of the Malayalam Department, with Professor Sasidharan offering greetings. Faculty member Asif delivered the welcome speech, and Saranya K.S. proposed the vote of thanks. Second-year Psychology student Thalmiya Madappan Muhammed introduced Basheer's literary works. This was followed by a screening of a documentary on Basheer.
