Breaking Barriers, Building Futures – An Interactive Session with Successful Women Entrepreneur was organised by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) in association with the Department of Commerce and Commerce Club, Assabah Arts and Science College, Valayamkulam, on 9 September 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Seminar Hall. The session was led by Ms. Shafna V, Business Head, Great Indian Saree from Seematti, who shared her valuable experiences, entrepreneurial journey and insights on women’s leadership and business opportunities. The interactive session motivated students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, overcome barriers and explore opportunities for self-employment and leadership. The programme also created awareness about women empowerment, gender equality and the importance of women’s participation in entrepreneurship and leadership. Overall, the session was highly informative and inspiring, encouraging students to confidently pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations and contribute to a stronger and more inclusive future.
