CAREER PATHWAYS IN ECONOMICS

The Department of Economics organized a programme titled “Career Pathways in Economics” on 14 August 2026 at the Geology Block Library Hall.

The programme was inaugurated by Cap. Prof. Mohamed Koya MN, Principal. Reshma N.K., Head of the Department, Department of Economics, served as the Resource Person.

The programme focused on creating awareness among students about various career opportunities available after studying Economics. The session discussed higher education, competitive examinations, teaching, banking, government services, research, and other career opportunities related to Economics.

The session was informative and helped students understand different career pathways and the skills required for a successful career. Students actively participated and benefited from the guidance provided.

The programme concluded successfully with the support and cooperation of the Department of Economics and IQAC.
