CHILDRENS DAY CELEBRATION

CHILDRENS DAY CELEBRATION

Assabah Arts and Science College, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS), organized a distinct Children's Day celebration on November 14th. The event was specifically curated to be celebrated with the students of the local Anganwadi, shifting the focus from campus celebrations to meaningful community engagement. This initiative highlighted the college's commitment to social outreach and the welfare of the younger generation.

Held at Kokkur, Chiyanoor, the program was deeply rooted in the legacy of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Commemorating his Jayanti, the event was organized under the theme of "celebrating the joy, innocence, and dreams of every child." Through various interactions and activities, the organizers sought to bring Nehru's vision to life, creating an atmosphere of happiness and encouragement for the Anganwadi children.

This celebration underscores the holistic educational approach of Assabah Arts and Science College, located in Valayamkulam, Malappuram. By stepping out of the classroom to engage with the community's youngest members, the institution demonstrated the importance of nurturing future generations. The event concluded as a successful tribute to Chacha Nehru, reinforcing the values of care, education, and the protection of children's rights.
