Food Fest Inauguration and Celebration

The inaugural session of the Food Fest was held from 12:45 PM to 4:30 PM at the college auditorium on December 10, 2019. The event saw enthusiastic participation from staff, students, and even members of the public. The program began with a prayer and was officially inaugurated by Smt. Heira, a young women entrepreneur. The fest featured 20 stalls offering a variety of foods such as paper biryani, chicken fry, banana fry, chapathi, assorted dosas, bread omelets, parippuvada, and uzhunnu vada, with lime juice and tea served for free. The Food Fest was a resounding success, thoroughly enjoyed by all attendees, who had positive feedback about the event. The active involvement of students in producing and selling these items provided them valuable insights into earning while learning and entrepreneurial skills, encouraging them to pursue entrepreneurial ventures in the future.
