The Department of Psychology, Assabah Arts and Science College Valayankulam, organized a flashmob on the theme “Freedom from Mental Health Stigma” on 14 August 2026 at 11:25 AM at the college campus. The programme aimed to create awareness about mental health, challenge misconceptions and stigma associated with mental health concerns, and encourage a more accepting and supportive attitude towards mental well-being. Through energetic performances and creative expressions, the students conveyed the message of breaking the stigma and promoting freedom, acceptance, and openness regarding mental health. The flashmob successfully engaged the college community and highlighted the importance of creating an environment where individuals feel comfortable seeking support and speaking about mental health.
