Third Edition of ‘Idam’ Newsletter Released:-
The third edition of ' Idam ', the newsletter jointly published by the Library & Resource Centre and the Department of Malayalam, was released on 19/06/2026 at the College Conference Hall.
The newsletter was officially released by Mr. Rajesh Nandhiyamkode, poet, filmmaker and environmentalist. The function was presided over by Dr. Baiju M.K., Vice Principal. Mr. Habeel Hafees, third-year Psychology student, delivered the welcome address.
Mr. Praveen U, Head of the Department of Malayalam, Mr. Shoukathali, Office Superintendent and Mr. Sinaj, College Union Chairman, felicitated the gathering and conveyed their best wishes.
The online edition of Idam was inaugurated by Dr. Baiju M.K., Vice Principal.
Mr. Asif, Asst. Prof. of the Department of Malayalam, proposed the vote of thanks.
As part of the program, prizes were also distributed to the winners of the Story and Poetry Writing Competition conducted on 29 June 2026.
The release of the third edition marks another step in the continued efforts of the Library & Resource Centre and the Department of Malayalam to encourage reading, writing, creativity and literary engagement among students.
