The Department of Computer Applications and Cyber Club of Assabah Arts and Science College, Valayamkulam, organized an *MoU Collaboration Seminar* titled *“Inside Cyber Security”* on *17 August 2026 at 11:30 AM* at the *Conference Hall*. The programme was organized with the objective of creating awareness about contemporary cybersecurity challenges and enhancing students’ understanding of cyber safety, ethical hacking, and information security.

The seminar was *monitored by IQAC* and conducted as part of the academic and collaborative initiatives of the Department of Computer Applications and Cyber Club. The programme provided students with an opportunity to interact with an industry professional and gain practical insights into the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity.

The resource person for the seminar was *Razim Mehabob, Technical Head, **Offenso Hackers Academy, Calicut*. Through his professional experience and technical expertise, he introduced participants to important aspects of cybersecurity and highlighted the growing significance of protecting digital information and systems from cyber threats.

The session focused on developing awareness of cyber risks and encouraging students to approach cybersecurity from both academic and practical perspectives. The programme also strengthened the connection between academic learning and industry-oriented knowledge, supporting the objectives of the MoU collaboration.

The seminar was beneficial to the students of the Department of Computer Applications and provided them with valuable exposure to current developments and career opportunities in cybersecurity. The initiative successfully contributed to enhancing cybersecurity awareness among students and promoting meaningful academic-industry collaboration.
