Assabah Arts and Science College organized the formal inauguration of its Literary Club along with a patriotic elocution competition as part of the Independence Day celebrations. The event, held in the college seminar hall, was inaugurated by Prof. Muhammad Koya M.N.
The function was presided over by Dr. K. Harikrishnan, Head of the English Department, while writer and journalist Shahala Veliyankode delivered the keynote address. Krishnapriya Kannan, a faculty member of the English Department, delivered the welcome speech.
The program was organized with the goal of nurturing literary aptitude and creative thinking among students, as well as upholding patriotism and the significance of Independence Day. A large number of students participated in the competition. Faculty members and students of the college were present at the event.
