The Department of Computer Science & IT Club, in collaboration with Unarvu Counselling Centre, organised the programme “MINDSCAPE: THE JOURNEY WITHIN” on 07 August 2026 at the Conference Hall. The programme focused on promoting students’ emotional well-being and developing effective problem-solving skills. The session provided an opportunity for students to understand their emotions, recognise personal challenges, and explore practical psychological strategies for managing stress and responding to difficulties constructively. The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Mohamed Koya M.N., Principal, and the session was led by Ms. Afeefa M.K., Psychologist, Unarvu Counselling Centre.
Objectives
* To enhance students’ awareness of their emotional well-being and psychological needs.
* To help students understand and manage their emotions effectively.
* To develop problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* To promote positive coping strategies for managing everyday challenges and stress.
* To encourage self-awareness, resilience, and a positive approach towards personal and academic difficulties.
Conclusion
The programme successfully provided students with meaningful insights into emotional well-being and practical approaches to problem-solving. The interactive session encouraged students to reflect on their thoughts, emotions, and responses to challenging situations. It contributed to strengthening their emotional awareness, coping abilities, resilience, and problem-solving skills.
