National Seminar:-“NEW HORIZONS OF BUSINESS IN THE DIGITAL ERA”

On Saturday, November 25, 2023, the PG Department of Commerce and Management Studies at Assabah Arts and Science College organized a significant national seminar centered around the theme "New Horizons of Business in the Digital Era." This academic gathering took place within the college conference hall, serving as a platform for insightful discussions and knowledge exchange. The day's proceedings began with the commencement of seminar registration at 8:30 am, drawing the participation of 130 individuals from both Assabah Arts and Science College and other academic institutions.

The formal inauguration of the program unfolded at 9:30 am, marked by a warm welcome address from Dr. Baiju M K, who holds the position of Assistant Professor in the PG Department of Commerce and Management Studies at Assabah Arts and Science College in Valayamkulam. Following this, the stage was graced by the distinguished presence of Prof. Mohamed Koya M.N., who delivered the presidential address. The significance of the event was further underscored through felicitation by Sir Muhammed Unni Haji, the General Secretary of Assabah Arts Science College in Valayamkulam.

An honorable moment occurred when the President of the college, PPM Ashraf, draped a shawl on the chief guest, Dr. E. Mubarak Ali. Dr. Ali, an Associate Professor and Head of PG & Research Department of Commerce at Jamal Mohammed College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli, inaugurated the program, adding prestige to the occasion. Subsequently, management members and Heads of Departments (HODs) from various departments within the college extended their felicitations, contributing to the overall academic ambiance.

Following the inaugural session, the seminar proceeded with three technical sections, each delving into diverse aspects of the overarching theme. As the academic deliberations came to a close, Mrs. Shini P.N., an Assistant Professor in the PG Department of Commerce and Management Studies at Assabah Arts and Science College, expressed gratitude through a vote of thanks. This marked the transition to the subsequent phase of the event, where the technical sections unfolded, offering a deeper exploration of the "New Horizons of Business in the Digital Era."
