From January 31 to February 1, 2024, the Nature Club of Assabah Arts and Science College, in partnership with IQAC, organized a 2-day nature camp in Attappadi. This initiative aimed to immerse participants in the region's distinct biodiversity, with a focus on fostering environmental awareness and conservation efforts. Situated within the Western Ghats, Attappadi is renowned for its abundant flora and fauna, providing an optimal setting for educational exploration and engagement. The camp served as a platform for participants to connect with nature, learn about the importance of biodiversity conservation, and develop a deeper appreciation for the environment. Through experiential learning and hands-on activities, attendees were empowered to become stewards of environmental sustainability, contributing to the preservation of Attappadi's natural heritage.
