In a concerted effort to promote environmental sustainability and eliminate plastic waste from the campus, a new campaign titled 'Nunanj theerna Madhuram' has been initiated, drawing inspiration from the 'Pen box challenge'. The campaign aims to tackle the pervasive issue of littered wrappers from sweets, ice cream, and chips by encouraging students to collect and deposit them responsibly. Spearheaded by College Staff Secretary Praveen KU, the inauguration marked a significant step towards fostering a cleaner and greener campus environment. By engaging the student body in proactive waste management practices, the campaign not only addresses the immediate issue of plastic pollution but also instills a sense of environmental consciousness among the college community.
