On Palliative Care Day, Assabah Arts and Science College Valayamkulam orchestrated a successful fundraising event in partnership with Karunyam Palliative Care Changaramkulam. The objective was to gather funds in support of the palliative care services offered by Karunyam. Both students and staff of the college actively engaged in various fundraising activities, including a charity walk, donation drives, and awareness campaigns. The event resulted in a total collection of Rs. 1,30,624, which will be allocated towards enhancing the facilities and services provided by Karunyam Palliative Care Changaramkulam, thus benefiting numerous patients in need of palliative care assistance. This collaborative endeavor between the college and the palliative care center underscores the significance of community participation in bolstering essential healthcare services.
