The Assabah Tourism Club of Assabah Arts and Science College organized a Quiz Competition in connection with National Tourism Day (January 25) on 28th January 2026 at the Seminar Hall from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The programme was monitored by IQAC.

The event aimed to enhance students’ awareness about tourism, its importance in economic development, cultural exchange, heritage conservation, and sustainable practices. The quiz witnessed active participation from students of various departments, making the session informative and competitive.

The competition consisted of multiple rounds, including general tourism knowledge, Indian tourism, Kerala tourism, current affairs related to travel and hospitality, and rapid-fire questions. The participants displayed remarkable enthusiasm, confidence, and subject knowledge throughout the programme.

After a series of engaging rounds, Rufaid and Sinan of Bsc. Food Technology (2023-24 Admission) secured the First Position with outstanding performance. Their teamwork, quick thinking, and accurate responses were highly appreciated.

The programme concluded successfully with appreciation for all participants and organizers. The event not only celebrated National Tourism Day but also encouraged students to explore the vast scope and significance of the tourism sector.
