On 9th July 2024 (Tuesday), the Institution Innovation Council, in collaboration with the ED Club, Commerce Club, and PG Department of Commerce and Management Studies, organized a seminar on "How to Build a Successful Startup" at the College Conference Hall. The event commenced with a silent prayer at 11 AM and was attended by final year UG and PG students. Sreeja T, IIC Convenor and Assistant Professor in the PG Department of Commerce and Management Studies, delivered the welcome speech. The Presidential Address was given by Prof. Mohammed Koya M N, Principal of Assabah Arts and Science College Valayamkulam. The program was inaugurated by Mr. Rasheed N, Assistant Industries Officer at the Taluk Industries Office in Ponnani, District Industries Centre Malappuram, who also conducted the technical session. Mr. Rasheed provided valuable insights into various aspects of building a successful startup, including idea generation, business planning, funding, support systems, and the challenges faced by new entrepreneurs. Felicitations were delivered by Dr. Baiju M K (Vice Principal), Shoukathali K V (Superintendent), and Nusaiba Nadran (College Union Chairperson). The Vote of Thanks was given by Mohammed Shibil M J, IIC Student Coordinator.
