The NSS Unit 240 of Assabah Arts and Science College, Valayamkulam, successfully conducted a Seven-Day Special Camping Programme from December 21 to 27, 2024, at GUP School, Korattikkara, under the My Bharat Mission. The theme of the camp was “Youth for My Bharat, Youth for Sustainable Development.”

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Sathyan, President of Kadavallur Grama Panchayath, who officially inaugurated the camp. The event was attended by college authorities, NSS volunteers, and local dignitaries.

Throughout the seven days, various activities were organized, including community development projects, awareness campaigns, environmental protection initiatives, and skill development sessions. Volunteers actively participated in cleaning drives, tree plantation, and awareness programs on sustainable living and social responsibility. Interactive sessions and workshops on leadership, teamwork, and personal development were also conducted.

The camp provided an excellent platform for NSS volunteers to engage with the community and contribute to the vision of a sustainable and self-reliant society. The program concluded on December 27 with a valedictory function, where participants shared their experiences and expressed their commitment to continuing their service towards nation-building.
