The Student Initiative in Palliative Care (SIP) Club of Assabah Arts and Science College, Valayamkulam organised the SIP Club Inauguration and Awareness Programme on “Palliative Care and Quality of Care” on 30 June 2026 at the College Auditorium.

The programme began with anchoring, followed by a silent prayer. The welcome speech was delivered by Mr. Javahir, SIP Coordinator. The programme was inaugurated by Capt. Prof. Mohamed Koya M.N., Principal, Assabah Arts and Science College. The gathering was greeted by Mr. Sinaj, Chairman, Assabah Arts and Science College.

The awareness session was led by the resource person, Mr. Abdul Rahman Sir, NSS Programme Officer, who delivered an informative session on “Palliative Care and Quality of Care.” He emphasized the significance of compassionate care, empathy, dignity, and quality healthcare, while encouraging students to actively contribute to society through service and humanitarian values.
