From September 23 to September 30, 2023, the NSS Unit of Assabah Arts and Science College undertook a comprehensive survey titled "Survey of Youth not in Formal Education or Regular Employment" within the College's adopted village, Alamcode Grama Panchayath. Conducted under the auspices of the Human Resource Ministry, Government of India, this initiative aimed to assess and address the status of youth who are neither enrolled in formal education nor engaged in regular employment. The survey sought to gather valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by this demographic, with the ultimate goal of devising tailored interventions to support their socio-economic inclusion and empowerment. Through diligent data collection and analysis, the NSS Unit endeavored to contribute to the formulation of targeted policies and programs aimed at uplifting and empowering the youth within the community.
