Tourism Club in association with PG Department of Commerce, Assabah Arts and Science College, Valayamkulam, organised a seminar on “Sustainable Tourism : Balancing Economic growth and environmental conservation” on 30 September 2026 at conference hall at 1.30 pm
The seminar focused on the importance of sustainable practices in the tourism sector and the need to balance tourism development with environmental and social responsibility. Ms. Shini P. N, Department of Commerce, led the seminar and presented an informative session on the topic. The session helped students understand the significance of sustainable tourism and its relevance in the present tourism industry.
The programme was presided over by Babitha V. P., Tourism Club Coordinator. Sabina, a member of the Tourism Club, delivered the welcome address. Ms. Sajina T. P., Departmen of Commerce, proposed the vote of thanks.
