On Chingam 1 (August 17, 2023, Thursday), commemorating Agriculture Day, Assabah NSS-240 Unit, Nannammuk Gram Panchayat, and Krishi Bhavan Nannammuk collaborated to organize a harvesting and planting event in the plantation of renowned farmer MS Kunjunniyettan, affectionately known as MS. Students had the valuable opportunity to work alongside MS Kunjunniyettan, a recipient of multiple district-level best farmer awards, learning firsthand from his expertise. The experience proved invaluable as they engaged in harvesting and planting new tapioca plants, gaining insights into agricultural practices and techniques. MS Kunjunniyettan's hospitality was evident as he treated the students to a sumptuous feast after their labor in the farm. With guidance from sports teacher Subin sir and psychology department teacher Ajmal sir, the event not only fostered practical learning but also deepened students' appreciation for agriculture and the hard work of farmers like MS Kunjunniyettan.
