Naash Mukth Bharat – A Documentary on the Observation of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking
The Departments of Computer Applications and Management of Assabah Arts and Science College jointly organized a documentary screening titled “The Chain of Choices” as part of the Naash Mukth Bharat (Drug-Free India) campaign in observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 29 June 2026 at 2:30 PM in Room No. 214. The programme was conducted under the monitoring of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
The documentary highlighted the harmful effects of drug abuse, the importance of informed decision-making, and the role of individuals and communities in building a drug-free society. Through powerful visuals and real-life perspectives, the programme aimed to create awareness among students about substance dependence and its social, psychological, and legal consequences.
The screening encouraged students to reflect on the impact of personal choices and inspired them to adopt healthy lifestyles and positive values. The event also reinforced the message of the Naash Mukth Bharat initiative by promoting social responsibility and active participation in anti-drug awareness efforts.
