The Film Club Assabah, in association with 
 Library and Resource Centre, organized "തിരശ്ശീലയ്ക്കപ്പുറം: A Discussion Series" with the objective of encouraging critical thinking and meaningful discussions on cinema and its social, cultural, and psychological dimensions.
The program was inaugurated by Prof. Mohamed Koya M. N., Principal, who highlighted the significance of cinema as a powerful medium for learning, reflection, and social awareness beyond entertainment.
The discussion was moderated by Dr. Geetha Krishnankutty, Assistant Professor, Department of English. Students from different departments actively participated in the discussion, sharing diverse perspectives on the themes presented.
The panel comprised Risha Sherin, Nandana, and Habeel Hafees from the BSc Psychology , Liya from BSc Food Technology, and Rahana from BBA. Their insightful observations and interactive discussions enriched the session and encouraged audience participation.
The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from both UG and PG students, making it an engaging and intellectually stimulating event.
The event concluded with vote of thanks by Ajith  P, Assistant professor,Department of Physics.
