The PG Department of Commerce and Management Studies organized a special tribute to the renowned industrialist Ratan Tata on 13th November 2024 at the college conference hall. The event, aimed at honoring the legacy and contributions of Mr. Tata to Indian industry and society, was a significant occasion for students, faculty, and staff alike.

The program commenced with the inauguration by the esteemed College President, PPM Ashraf Sir, who highlighted Ratan Tata’s outstanding achievements and his impact on India’s economic growth and global presence. His words set the tone for the tribute, inspiring students and faculty to reflect on Tata's vision and leadership.

Following the inauguration, a short felicitation ceremony took place, where notable guests and dignitaries were acknowledged for their support and contributions to the event. The highlight of the event was the screening of a documentary that provided a comprehensive insight into the life and work of Ratan Tata. The documentary showcased his journey from his early days to his leadership at Tata Group, emphasizing his commitment to ethical business practices, social responsibility, and his role in steering the conglomerate to new heights.

In addition to the documentary, a paper presentation session was conducted by the PG students of the department. The students delivered insightful presentations, discussing various aspects of Ratan Tata’s leadership style, his vision for sustainable development, and his contributions to Indian business practices. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the College President, faculty, and students for their participation and support in making the tribute a success.
