On September 1st, 2023, the Department of Computer Science and Applications, in partnership with TECHBYHEART, hosted a workshop focusing on Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking. Led by Rohith N, a seasoned Cybersecurity Analyst, the event aimed to provide final year BCA and CS students with practical insights and techniques in cybersecurity. The workshop, held in the college's computer lab, covered various topics such as threat detection, data protection, and ethical hacking practices. Through interactive sessions and hands-on exercises, participants gained valuable skills to tackle modern cyber threats effectively. Monitored by the IQAC, the workshop emphasized the importance of ethical behavior and responsible use of technology in safeguarding digital assets. Overall, it served as a crucial platform for empowering future technologists with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity.
