WORKSHOP ON PAPER BAG MAKING 

The Entrepreneurship Development (ED) Club of Assabah Arts and Science College, Valayamkulam, organized a Workshop on Paper Bag Making for the Haritha Karma Sena members on 28 July 2026 (Tuesday) at 10:00 a.m. at Changaramkulam. The programme was conducted under the supervision of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).The workshop aimed to promote environmental sustainability by encouraging the use of eco-friendly paper bags as an alternative to single-use plastic bags. Participants received hands-on training in making durable and attractive paper bags using simple and cost-effective materials. The resource persons explained the techniques of paper bag production and highlighted its potential as a source of self-employment and entrepreneurship.The programme also created awareness about reducing plastic pollution and adopting sustainable practices in daily life. The slogan, "Make it a habit. Bring your eco bag wherever you go," reinforced the importance of carrying reusable bags to protect the environment.The workshop concluded with an interactive session where participants shared their experiences and appreciated the initiative. The programme was successful in enhancing the practical skills of the Haritha Karma Sena members while promoting environmental responsibility and entrepreneurship.
