In celebration of Food Safety Day, the Food Technology Department took proactive measures to raise awareness within the college community and beyond. Notices were dispersed across various classes and nearby shops, reinforcing the significance of food safety. Additionally, students took initiative by installing informative signboards throughout the college premises, educating peers and visitors alike. Recognizing the importance of maintaining high standards, a formal request was submitted to the Principal for the registration of the college canteen with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). As part of this endeavor, plans were set in motion to provide comprehensive food safety classes to the canteen staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and safeguarding the health of all patrons.
