INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is functioning in the college to develop a system for conscious and consistent action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution. It also promotes measures for quality, culture and institutionalisation of best practices towards quality enhancement. It develops quality parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution. The Cell facilitates the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning processes. It takes feedback from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality related institutional processes.

Our college established Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on 10/08/2019. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the college. It plays a vital role in decision making and implementation of all the activities regarding academic and infrastructure development.

IQAC is committed to fostering a culture of collaboration and cooperation among all stakeholders, including staff, students, alumni, employer and the wider community and other institutions to achieve the College's educational objectives."

OBJECTIVES

Establish and maintain quality standards: Establish standards and measures for learning and management activities to ensure consistency and effectiveness.

Promote a positive higher learning culture: Create a positive culture higher learning among students through discussion, education and awareness programs.

Monitoring and Evaluation: Regular monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of various programs, seminars or workshops teaching, research and other services.

Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from various stakeholders (including students, teachers, employers and alumni) and based on the analysis of the feedback the result so obtained is used to drive improvement in all areas of the institution.

Accreditation and Evaluation: To help the organization prepare for the accreditation process and to prepare self-assessment and approval documents in accordance with the standards set by the organization.

Use of Best Practices: Identify and promote best practices in teaching, management, and administrative processes to effectively improve the organization's results.

Transparency and Accountability: Promote transparency and accountability in all organizational processes by maintaining accurate information, reporting information, and encouraging participation in decision-making processes.

Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement through regular reviews, data analysis and implementation of action plans to address areas for improvement.

Promoting innovation and excellence: Encouraging innovation in teaching, curriculum development, performance measurement and management processes to improve learning and service delivery.

FUNCTIONS

• Development and implementation of quality standards for the diverse academic and executive training programs at the College.

• Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment that supports quality education and faculty development, enabling the adoption of essential knowledge and technology for collaborative teaching and learning.

• Arranging for feedback from students, parents, and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.

• Dissemination of information on the diverse quality standards of advanced education.

• Organization of inter- and intra-institutional workshops and forums on quality-related themes, and the creation of quality circles.

• Attestation of the college's vibrant programs contributes to quality enhancement.

• Serves as the college's central agency for coordinating quality-related activities, including the adoption and dissemination of best practices.

• Monitor the development and maintenance of the institutional database through MIS to uphold and enhance institutional quality.

• Fostering a culture of quality within the college.

• Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) for the college based on the quality parameters and assessment criteria established by NAAC.
